Do I have to say Jarvis?
No. Jarvis is an optional wake word. You can turn it on or off, so the commands below work with or without it.
Which commands work in Pilates?
Pilates works with bands instead of weight, so the workout commands are Add Band, Remove Band, Set Bands and Remove All Bands, and the band colors are yellow, pink, blue, orange, green and purple. Pilates has no Turn Left or Turn Right and no Cancel Command.
Which commands need Ring Mode?
Turn Left and Turn Right need Ring Mode. They are listed in Free Lift, Guided Workouts and Rowing, and they are not part of Pilates.
Chain two actions
Two actions fit into one sentence, which replaces several taps on the Gym Monster screen, for example "Jarvis, Change 5 to 10 pounds and then Turn on".
Which commands need the dongle?
Ring-style actions are the dongle-only part: Skip, Long Press and Double Press. A GMVoice dongle acts like a real Gym Monster Ring and supports them. A standard phone connection over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth cannot deliver these actions. Weight changes, Turn On and Turn Off work normally without a dongle.
Phrases through Siri and Google Assistant
On iPhone, Siri Shortcuts add Turn On, Long Press, Add, Remove and Change for kilograms or pounds, with phrases such as "Hey Siri, add 3 kilograms in GMVoice". On Android, Google Assistant exposes two App Actions, with the phrases "Hey Google, Barbell On in GMVoice" and "Hey Google, Long Press in GMVoice".
Still not working?
Record a Field Debug session in the GMVoice app so the problem can be diagnosed from the real audio instead of a description, then write to contact@gmvoice.tech. The step-by-step instructions are in How to Record a Field Debug Session in GMVoice.
